AngelasticParticipantThere was no sarcasm.
ETA: You’d only need to dress up as a time-travelling scientist once, and time travel from your initial whatever-it-is to the show.

Jon WhoParticipantVery well. I may consider it. If I have enough hair left, and am so bored on the train up to redo it…
ETA: Hahaha. Very good. Unfortunately at this time, my character arrives in this time as the result of an accident (I think, it keeps changing) not an intentional time machine.

ParticipantWell he could always have another accident… yeah that’s it.

Jon WhoParticipantTruth be told, could I keep up the act? Or should I even act? I haven’t even done it the first time round yet…

ParticipantI think this relates to a thread I haven’t read. I am going to guess that the said beard is made up of hair froma hair cut.
Give that I just ‘woke up’ from a ‘nap’ on a work sofa, I could be way off.June 15, 2008 at 5:28 pm #42862June 16, 2008 at 2:04 am #42916Askwho
Participanthi everyone, on that photo Im the one in the lab coat, and i think it would be so cool if everyone turned up in similar attire
June 16, 2008 at 2:39 am #42917
AngelasticParticipantI could borrow one, but then there’d be no point in getting it signed.

ParticipantI had a lab coat. When I was in college doing A level chemistry. About 5 years ago.
I no longer seem to have said lab coat. 🙁

AngelasticParticipantMy friends are passing around a copy of Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons, so eventually I’ll be expected to read it too. I’m thinking I could read it conspicuously while on the train to London, while wearing a lab coat with CERN-branded punch cards and pens sticking out of the pocket, just to confirm the stereotype which I’ve heard is portrayed in the book. I don’t know, maybe I could also carry a vial labelled ‘antimatter’ or something.
Wow, the preview of this message is going nuts, I wonder what the real thing will look like.

ParticipantI think that is an amazing idea, all forum members turn up in labcoats. I’m sure we can find a nice internet site to source them for for a reasonable price. Would it be over the top to make them all like Askwho’s with the Skullcrusher Mountain part on them. On the topic how did you do that?
A front row full of labcoats would be amazing wonder what paul and storm would think.June 16, 2008 at 8:06 am #42939Agent Lex
ParticipantIf everyone sans labcoat wants to get one, cheapest I found on a quick search is £9.99 here.

MaWParticipantNow you're making me want to come down to London for this one. I guess I could… even though there's supposed to be one in Nottingham… it'd be a fun evening like last time…
…except this time I'd be staying over to ensure I don't miss out on the group shot (everybody adjust their cameras upwards)
June 16, 2008 at 10:07 am #42956Askwho
ParticipantI would advise going to London. Part of the fun is a good geeky group gathering, its a nice atmosphere
as for the lab coats, i am probably going in one anyway (got to get my other one signed) and it wold just be amazing to the nth degree if others did too. as for how i did that thing on the front, its just paper sown on, i had the skull on the pocket as well, but i ripped it off to get it signedJune 16, 2008 at 10:49 am #42962jinx
ParticipantTo all the JoCoLoCo conspirators:
This thread is so fun to read. I think the labcoat idea is awesome, and I love the degrees of creativity you guys are putting in towards the theater of it all. You guys go!
