Figured I’d start a thread for little miscellaneous JoCo-things that don’t necessarily warrant individual threads.
And I also figured I’d start it off with this little thing:
For when their rampaging rock-stardom – for reasons of lawyers – forces them to give up names in favour of symbols.I like the fact that in both cases, the names are reversed, in that Coulton comes before Jonathan, and Storm before Paul.
Is this just a brain fart or did you spend a lot of time designing them?Not that there’s anything wrong with a thread devoted to JoCo-related fan-produced brain farts.Just a brain-fart, really. Which is why the miscellany-category. And yeah, I tried really hard to get Paul and Storm, at least, to be in order, but the S-into-P just worked better.
I’m so old, I remember when we used to have a similar thread to this, for random posts. What was it called…? Oh yes, The Random Post Thread!
It was sixty pages long, and it’s been dead for a while now, so it’s probably time for a new one 🙂
I will always gravitate to something random. @Jmonkee now that you have declared yourself a historian of this site, is there now or has there ever been a thread devoted to “What JoCo song is currently playing in your head and why?” I wanted to start such a thread up but didn’t for fear of being redundant.
@librarian, I seem to have annoyed you. Not my intention! This thread just reminded me of the old (and interesting) Random Post thread, so I thought I’d point it out. It’s useful, and I think it’s a good idea to have a new one. Sincere, not snark!
As for the “What JoCo song is currently playing in your head and why?” thread… I don’t think so, but maybe @Bry would remember. It sounds pretty entertaining, though. 🙂
@jmonkee you didn’t annoy me at all! I’m not sure why you thought you had. I was totally sincere in asking if I was going to duplicate an already existing thread. I figured that you’d been around long enough to know.

In the spirit of something random and JoCo related, here’s a video of Benoit Mandelbrot, mentioning how much he likes “Mandelbrot Set” (JoCo’s song, not the badass fucking fractal).
