freeParticipantHe said on Twitter that the album would be “digital for the world this week (I hope)”, so I would assume he’s referring to the 2nd.

chicazulParticipantI grilled Jonathan about the release date the other day. At the moment he’s entirely ready to have it out, but it’s tied up with lawyers and distribution details and something to do with not being allowed to have it for sale before iTunes does. The moment the lawyers are done with it he’ll put it online, but even he doesn’t know when that is.

kateParticipantThanks, @chicazul! Perhaps with the inclusion of Still Alive and Want You Gone, all of this jumbo is with Valve? 🙂

AngelasticParticipantLawyers and distribution details? Our little internet superstar’s growing up. :/ I guess Valve and the various collaborations make things a little more complicated; not that I have much to compare it with since he doesn’t usually release things as albums.

ParticipantThis was a triumph. I’m making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.

ParticipantOne thing I’d like to add is that I’m surprised that The Stache is the closing track. Now that Want You Gone is on the album, I thought that it would be the obvious choice.

freeParticipantI would’ve liked Nobody Loves You Like Me as the closing track, but hey, I don’t mind the order of the songs as long as they’re good, and I’m sure they are.

ParticipantTrue, and at this point I have no idea what the album version of The Stache even sounds like, so I have no way of knowing if it works or not. No matter what, this album will be in heavy rotation on my playlist for a while.

ParticipantI was just listening to the commentary track of the third season of Leverage TV series (on DVD) – and lo and behold, there was a shout out to Jonathan Coulton (and Paul and Storm and W00tstock) during the Ho Ho Ho episode, which features Wil Wheaton. I found that surprising and cool – and now I hope they will have an episode in the future (soon) with a cameo by Jonathan. It could be about robot armies. Or half pony half monkey monsters.

ParticipantIf I ever make a TV-show, it will cameo Jonathan as a rich playboy who, through unexplained experiences with a monkey, decides to start making a living for himself busking and playing acoustic sets in small venues, which the main characters all coincidentally attend every single one of.

AngelasticParticipantIf I ever made a TV show about either JoCo or Leonard Nimoy, it would definitely have ‘through unexplained experiences with a monkey’ in the synopsis.

Participant“Through Unexplained Experiences With a Monkey” is the name of my nature documentary/sitcom.

GinaParticipantExcellent interview with Jonathan about Artificial Heart and other things by Paul and Storm on their latest podcast. In related news, my addition of “His poop smells like mangoes.” to the JoCo wiki was almost immediately removed. 🙁

ParticipantOoh, it’s a Famous Tracy sighting… hearing?
