@Hijammer  About….twice the distance, I’d guess?  maybe 3/4 of a mile?  I make the walk from the train station to the venue in about 15 minutes.

I feel like the walk from MARTA to the venue is less brutal than walking among the Dragon*Con hotels because it’s flatter and shadier.

I don’t know how much interest there might be in pre-show dining since the Con is a busy busy place, but if people are looking for pre-show food, there’s a lot right in that area. I’m particularly fond of the Porter Beer Bar down the street from the Variety, but with it being a weekend I don’t know how speedy it would be. 

Also, I’ll now be staying in the Con area, so I’ll likely be in the MARTA-to-the-venue crowd.

Further also, important to note that MARTA stops running at about 1 a.m. weekdays and half past midnight on weekends.

F everyone’s I, the Variety show will be a combination of seated and standing. Previously, we’ve had them put seats in the front area of the room; this time around, that area will be all standing. (There’ll still be plenty of fixed seating in the rest of the room)

As I believe the show is GA, if you would prefer a seat, it might be best to plan to arrive a little early to be sure.

We’re doing a piece for radio on Jonathan, so we have full board audio of the entire Variety show (and of Paul & Storm’s set). We’re probably going to produce a 60 minute version of each set, and run them when we have an off-week.

Once we produce the audio, we’ll post a full version here.
