CC’s How it works is a nice straight forward explanation in general. Jonathan’s non-cover music is CC-byNC, according to the Music page, which generally means free to distribute and adapt (remix), as long as it is done with proper accreditation; but the music should not be used for commercial purposes (I assume you need to work something out with Jonathan directly for that).
