I think the tours we gave were useful, but I think we need to advertise them better and find a way to organize them, maybe with a sign saying “Tour leaving at xx:xx”. Once the line-up started for registration, it was difficult to get anyone’s attention to go on a tour (I guess folks would rather stand in line). I hope we could arrange for folks taking the tour to drop their bags in registration, as there is a lot of walking involved. Either that or we could schedule some tours for when the rooms have opened up (but by then, it’s once again difficult to wrangle folks). I’d suggest having two guides per tour and no more than eight in a group. It’s difficult to do the tour, answer questions, and give tips (and be fair to everyone in the group) with much more than that.
