I had a FANTASTIC time. This year was the most smoothly-run cruise yet, for me. Home Office was amazing, Helper Monkeys were super helpful, everyone seemed to be on top of all of their respective balls.

I liked that the Feztravaganza was combined with Live Band Karaoke. For me, that gave the event a shared experience, instead of something where I felt like I was awkwardly wandering around making small talk with people. Could definitely see the event having 30 minutes of mingling before launching into Live Band Karaoke or Dance Party or something, but I really appreciated having something to DO at the Fezstravaganza.
Regarding talking during events: To me, Sea Monkey Karaoke at the On-Air Club felt like hanging out at a karaoke bar, where you talk to your friends and order drinks while people sing. Shows in Studio B felt like rock shows: you don’t start up an in-depth conversation, but you do say things like “yeah!” and “they’re so great!” and “can I buy you another drink?” and nobody really thinks you’re going to stand there and be quiet. Alahambra shows felt like sit-down theatre, in which you only whisper to your neighbor when absolutely necessary.
BUT my point here is actually that this is what “talking etiquette” felt like TO ME. And 900 monkeys probably had 900 other versions of talking etiquette in their own minds. So if we need to clarify that for JCCC5, I am totally on board with that.
