@gbasden My wife and I are either diving or snorkeling at St Thomas, not sure which yet as I’ve got a C card but she does not we were thinking of doing the Discover Diving, but if it looks like too much of a hassle we may be snorkeling instead.
I just got us both new gear, Amazon has US Divers mask,snorkel, fins and gearbag package for between $40 & $55 depending on size and color. These are the compact fins which are great for traveling and pretty powerful from what I’ve read (my current fins are humongous) I’m not sure if I’ll use the mask or not, but even so it’s still a good deal, and if you plan on snorkeling more than once, it’s just about paid for itself at RCI prices.
