Does anyone wear a fez-like but non-fez hat at the formal? I’m considering a tubeteika instead of a fez, but not if it’s pushing the boundaries too far (It’s a Kazakh version of a fez; photo below.) Planned fez customization may have undesired side effects; i.e. I might ruin it.
