Thank goodness for Knob Creek and Bakers, at least. The bias against American whiskies in that list is just appalling. Only four bourbons[1] to fifteen scotches? Nothing from the high-rye or wheated groups? And not one rye??? Appalling. I bet they don’t even have a basic selection of craft bitters, so I’ll be spending a week tasting Angostura like a longshoreman. It’s lucky my monocle has a chain or after reading that list it would have dropped straight into my locally-sourced mason jar of white dog.

[1] Someone might feel inclined to issue a correction that it’s three bourbons and one Tennessee whiskey, but FAIRLY WARNED BE YE SAYS I! It really is four bourbons no matter what the state of Tennessee and its marketing department thinks.
(It really makes me a little sad and confused that cruise ships don’t allow whiskey drinkers to bring a personal bottle for serving with dinner like the wine drinkers can for a corkage fee. Someday this oppression by grape lovers will end.)
