I don’t know if this exactly replicates the issues we’d have on the ship, but I set up my laptop so the ethernet was hooked up, and I shared it to wifi as an access point. I then connected to that network with my phone, and confirmed everything worked.
Then I made it so the other side of the ethernet wouldn’t route (but the laptop/AP was still active), disconnected, and reconnected, and it still worked.
Grain of salt, but… Hopefully CruiseMonkey will work. 😛
