What @Kathleen said. RCCL’s demographic skews notably younger than HAL’s (which, if you’ve waded through earlier threads or some of the various cruise fora, tends to be known as “Ghod’s Floating Waiting Room”), and I would expect the non-JCCC3ers to:
1) end up with a different name than “snorks”, which was coined specifically for the HAL-type grumpy old folks. This does not preclude there being snorks on FotS, but probably not as many per capita.
2) Be harder to distinguish from Sea Monkeys at first glance (probably fewer geeky T-shirts).
I don’t think we had many problems with snorks or crew last year mistreating Sea Monkeys (though the incidents I am aware of were, frankly, appalling and I wish I’d known at the time because I’m one of those Do Something To Fix This kind of people), and I would expect even fewer issues with an RCCL crowd as we as a group are a better fit to their usual demographic than we are to HAL’s.
