Reply To: Political Statements

I’m not at all sure JoCo would be against that, since he is aware that his business also relies on ‘piracy’ (which in his case is perfectly legal sharing, because he gives us permission to do it, but nonetheless BitTorrent can be used to do it, and he has, on occasion, even specifically mentioned BitTorrent as a way of getting his music) of music. I don’t know anything about this Switzerland thing (except that, well, I am in it) or the other stuff, but I don’t think JoCo sees BitTorrent as bad.

But argh, what am I doing in the Political Statements thread? I only come in here to lighten things up by posting relevant song lyrics. No political statements for me! Here you go then, a vaguely relevant lyric from Tom Smith (though, ironically, I can’t find that particular mp3 for free on his site):

I want my music on Napster,
I want the world to say, “Wow”!
Some say I’m losing money,
Like I’m making it now.
