So, you know how motorcycle clubs have patches for their jackets, identifying the club, member rank, etc? Maybe we could have Seamonkey patches, but for, say, tweed or herringbone jackets, to wear on the non-formal nights. Patches for previous cruises, state or national flags of origin, patches for different interest groups or activities–gaming (including subtypes), handbell choir, crunch everything, etc.
I’ve already been told this was a terrible idea, but I thought I should check and see if anyone else supports my terribleness. Leather elbow patches obligatory, of course.
