@autojim: my first cruise was back in ’97 (I think?) and I remember waiting for hours in the cruise terminal to board. Aside from JCCC2 (which had computer problems) I’ve pretty much walked onto every cruise ship since. I think they have the logistics covered these days, even for the BIG ships.
