@Angelastic I like the sound of antagonym and antilogy better, especially because I seem to prefer dashes used to link clauses, rather than dashes used to link words – like this.
At this point some of you readers may be wondering what the muck this grammar tangent has to do with GETTING EXCITED about a cruise. You know what I say to you? IF YOU DON’T LIKE NERDING OUT ABOUT GRAMMAR YOU CAN GO JUMP IN A POOL. SERIOUSLY. One of the exciting things about a JCCC is that no matter your flavor of nerdery, there is a decent chance you can find someone else willing to talk to about it. But if you happen to get bored because a particular conversation has drifted away from your favorite nerd topic (1) into your least favorite topic (2) , you always have the option to literally jump in a pool, or a cantilevered hot tub, or an ice skating rink (3)
