A follow-up: Why is the Atlantic Ocean so big? How come several of my favourite Zunior artists, and also Mark Bérubé, can afford to cross it fairly often to play strings of very small free-to-the-public gigs in many different countries, but the JoCoPaStotron only plays a few largish gigs a year mostly in one country?
I’ll tell you why. It’s to encourage the appreciation of local musicians and Canadians. The Canadians are going to take over Europe and form the world’s largest country (as long as they keep Québec), while the local musicians are going to take over your house and form the world’s smallest microstates. The world will be a giant Timbit covered in sugar granules. You just wait and see.
