Reply To: JoCo Cruise Crazy 3: Get excited and talk about things!
Okay, you didn’t ask me, but I came here to say something else and I found this half-written draft, so what the heck, I will enrage the almighty opening band by describing their music using one of the three-or-so genres I can reliably identify. I would call the music @paulandstorm make ‘comedy’ (with occasional nuns, pirates, and dick jokes); not too many sad things or nerds to complicate the description. They just know how to pander to nerds because they’ve spent too much time around us (maybe they’re used to many monkeys.) I’m not saying they’re not nerds (of course they are!), just that I wouldn’t feel compelled to use that word in a description of their music.
So now, the other thing I came here to say: JCCC A cappella group v2.0, on the ice rink, singing Scott Barkan’s On The Ice Again, after which we all bravely skate off and joyously hurt ourselves. (Video from JCCC2, because I think the introduction adds something.) It will be so beautiful it will hurt.
