I had the best filet mignon and jumbo shrimp ever in the main dining room (A Surf & Turf combo), so I asked them for a second plate of it, and they brought me more. You can get as much as you want all for one price (booking a room on the ship). I can’t imagine wanting to pay extra to go to one of the other restaurants when you’ve got first rate all-you-can-eat dining in the main room, especially since you’re sitting with other seamonkeys! Man I love cruising!
Also, just speaking personally, while I gained about 4 pounds last years cruise, I lost it all again within a week since I went back to my normal diet afterwards. Of course YMMV.
