Yes, I deliberately wore my badge (almost-not in the gym) the entire time for identification purposes.
As far as the Sharpie ink wearing off, I suspect it may be coming into contact with sunscreen. I have had that happen many times before. A piece of transparent tape will solve that issue. 🙂
