Reply To: Pre-Cruise Orlando/Kennedy Take Over
Maybe we could all meet up at Kennedy on Saturday, look around a bit and take a group picture in front of a rocket or something (wearing Space Doggity shirts if we have them) and then I’ll ride with one of you to Fort Lauderdale, and somebody else (hey, now that we’re actually making some plans, we should remember to keep Marian Call in the loop) could ride with the other.
We should think about booking a tour of some sort, or lunch with an astronaut, for the day when the most of us are there (sounds like that would be Saturday, if @Photo_Wolfe7 goes with this new plan.) The KSC tour I did last time was really informative and we got to see launchpads and pelicans and crocodiles and spoonbills and the vehicle assembly building (from the outside) and the Apollo/Saturn V Center (which has a lot of interesting things in it, and, according to wikipedia, is only accessible by bus tours.)
