No official word yet on anything. Short version: folks on board say that everything being requested seems feasible (pretty simple, really), but they would not be able to implement it without an official Blessing from On High (HAL). Which we are now working on procuring.

I also got official word that Skype is blocked on-board (although Storm was able to use it a couple times early in the trip very early in the morning, not sure how he snuck in under the radar). We also found at least one restaurant in Willemsted that had free, reliable wifi, though we didn’t attempt to Skype with it.
Also FWIW, while in port in Aruba, we were able to purchase a calling card for $10 that gave us approx. 30 minutes of call time to the US. There are probably other better/cheaper deals out there, but it is at least good to know that was an option, as it was much cheaper than anything available on board. (The desk that sold the cards was located right in the main building you enter upon disembarking, and there was a row of phones to use it with a few feet away)
More info as it comes in, we promise to let you know as soon as we hear anything. But it is at least promising to know that the tech guys on board have been quite agreeable (as has the entire on-board staff; we have some super-cool things planned for this Feb.)
