The “game” is another dramatic illustration of the Bubble Syndrome, a social-contract curse that has besieged Western societies for hundreds of years (e.g. BitCoin Bubble, Finance Bubble, Housing Bubble, Dot-Com Bubble … all the way back to the Tulip Bubble).
A few people with too much time on their hands obsess over Gambit X, artificially inflating the “value” of Gambit X while the vast majority of Mankind trod on without care. Corruption runs rampant. The few passers-by who had been drawn into Gambit X’s tiny circle of intrigue begin to sense the lack of intellectual and ethical depth and start to drift away. Gambit X implodes.
We did, however, get a nice diagram of a switching power supply out of it.
