I listened to the whole voiceover before clicking anything, just in case clicking made it change. I determined the patterns for most of the data in the top right in that time.
I was finally able to play (my monitor is locked to a strange resolution, which app designers often don’t allow for) by restarting. Found a bug but haven’t properly tried to replicate it yet. Ashamed to admit it took me a while to look at the JavaScript because I took the admonishment not to cheat a little too seriously!
The code is *hilarious*. I think the corruption of the last embedded comment is an accident caused by search-and-replace code obfuscation though, rather than a particularly complex puzzle. (Is that cryptic enough? I’m trying not to spoil everything.)
