Nicely caught, and it’s due to me screwing the lyrics up a little bit BOTH singing them and writing them because when I screw up, I don’t do it half-assed.
Go with the lyrics, my vocals are only to guide the tempo and phrasing to we all sing in time, and here are some corrected lyrics so everyone can find them:

There’s a bearded man standing by the table

In a wrinkled suit and clearly borrowed tie

The party’s kind of fun, but you’ve talked with everyone

So you listen when he sings about this guy

He tells you he was raised to love some music

And monkeys, squids and hydrocarbon chains

And he knows a thing or two about the things that you should do

If zombies come and try to eat your brains

First recite all 700 hobo names

Spend some time on stage with Storm and Paul

You should take a cruise with Wheaton, Phirm and Roderick

So fun the waves won’t bother you at all

Get a band and play at all the PAXs

Make friends with Jerry H. and Mickie K.

The nerds will chant your name, your life will never be the same

You won’t believe this luck has come your way

You should write a Thing a Week and start a meme or two
Though you may fear that you won’t make a dime

Power through as you forget which words to sing

At the very least you’ll tweet some of the time

PBS will never care
