In the end I got my Mac back after only one day without it (I love living near an Apple Store), but I ended up being busy and headachy over the weekend and didn’t get to this. However, I promise I will listen to all the source tracks this evening and do whatever I can to imitate them using things other than musical instruments (since if I use the one musical instrument I own, it’ll be clear that I can’t play it, whereas I have a chance of being the best klein bottle, toilet paper roll, or macaroni player the world has ever seen.) I won’t sing, because I have a cold and I can’t even sing well when I don’t have a cold. But I will not rest until I have sent @skyen some audio and @MJPM some video!
Oh wait… my Mac can sing, and although she it recently recovered from a mild trackpad-related ailment, it does not have a cold. If A Talk With George is one of the songs we have an UltraStar file for, I’ll see if I can do a robot choir singing part in time. How many days does November have again? 32? No? Aarrghh! This is all going to work out, you know. I felt the same panic during the lead-up to the last JoCo days and it worked out spectacularly.
I also finished my Thing A Week summary video thingy (with help from @elliomeg), which I originally hoped to finish at the end of Thing A Week Redux, but didn’t, and then decided to finish for JoCo Day, but I don’t want it to draw attention away from the forum thing so maybe I should upload it early, or late, or something.
