Not crazy. Every monkey needs alone time to see bahamas in the sunshine. I forewent (is that a word? That’s a word!) all excursions on the last stop of the last cruise, and it was great… no getting up early to get to my shore excursions, a leisurely breakfast and ukulele concert on the verandah, and then we discovered a historic stepwell. I liked the excursions I did, but I also liked not doing excursions, and in any case what happens on the boat during the rest of the cruise is better than what happens on shore (though my experience is probably coloured by the fact that when I did excursions, I wasn’t with any other sea monkeys.) I say do any excursions that pique your interest, but don’t feel compelled to go on excursions just to make the most of the time or something.
