I am firmly in the “his” camp, mainly because of the grammar issue, namely that she, by my understanding, hears the whirrs of the servos. Now, while feasibly she could hear the whirrs of her own servos, I don’t understand why that would cause her to scream and try to run. Beyond all of that, though, and I’m not a super mechanically inclined guy, but why would bionic eyes need servos? The only movement I can think of would be the aperture and the lens, and I’m pretty sure neither of those would use servos.
