I got a soda card on the last cruise, but I don’t think I’ll get one this time, as I ended up roughly breaking even on it. Be advised that you can NOT use your soda pass for sodas delivered by room service to your room (which comes by the can – found this out from firsthand experience), only fountain drinks that you can order at the various bars/restaurants/cafes on board..
If you drink a LOT of soda (~3 per day or more) it’s probably worth it. Anything less than that and you’re not really saving much, if anything. It costs $25 and gets you a bit over 20 drinks before it runs out. When calculating, remember that we have 3 shore excursions where you may not even be on board to use the card for half of each of those days, so calculate accordingly.
