I really like these!!! Great lyrics, catch tunes, very nice arrangements…what’s not to love? I’m particularly partial to “Staff Meeting” (hilarious and catchy!) and the arrangement of “When You Get There” (how appropriately jazz combo-like…I can see this one done live with piano, upright bass, and drums with brushes…too cool). I also think that “She Said” would go over very well with the Paul & Storm world into which we here cross over into so much.
I am the lead singer of a cover band, and while we mostly do “bar band standards”, we like to mix things up and throw the audience quite a few curve balls. I’d kinda like to perform “Staff Meeting”, assuming that you were okay with it, and that the copyright and licensing involved gets you compensated by the appropriate parties. (Yes, I realize that you have it licensed cc-by-nc, but since we’d be getting paid to play the gig, you’d need to get paid, too, because of the “nc” part)
