Slam, regarding your question about the seats: Last time, I was the first person on line, some 1:40 before doors opened (poor scheduling on my part), and a few other forum regulars joined me shortly after (including Bry, who would probably be very interested in your Whiff stuff btw). The line grew fairly large; the security and employees of the Highline basically asked us “Who is this guy and why is he generated such an insane line?” I took front and center table and was very happy with it, but interestingly enough the sound guy said the actual best seats are center balcony. The seating was very orderly and not crazed at all; people were sitting all over and the rest of my table actually filled up with folks who were much further down the line than I was. It was a great place for a show; sound wise I don’t think there were any bad seats. I also believe that *all* seats are at tables, and expect the usual mildly overpriced NYC club food.
In general I’m very happy to see Jonathan back at the Highline, the last few area shows were good but didn’t measure up to the excitement generated there.
