Reply To: Colemak, Dvorak, or Qwerty?
I assume that many of the people here from non-English-speaking countries who don’t code much use layouts other than QWERTY. I tried AZERTY for a while, but stopped when I accidentally quit something (command-Q) instead of selecting all (command-A.) Perhaps I’ll try QWERTZ (Swiss French) instead. I recall reading somewhere that despite the hype, typing on a dvorak keyboard has never been shown to be any faster than on qwerty.
