Chicazul, that is SO called for 😉 All that is needed is eight bars or so of eighth-note jingling in time to the track, maybe at two different volume levels. And a handful of individual hits (non-timed, with a bit of arbitrary silence between them) could be useful too in case a spot comes up where an individual accent is required instead of full jingling.
I have a fond memory of playing in a show with a headliner once where the second keyboard player (me) had to grab the sleighbells for a specific song. Only thing is, this guy made it into a big gag about me coming from a long line of expert sleighbell players, and I was “featured” centre-stage in front of the band. I don’t think I did it with the required gravitas…
