My dictionary (Webster’s Encyclopedic Unabridged) has the pronunciation as pr? bos´is (proBOSSsis). However, I’ve heard it pronounced all sorts of ways. For example, in this video, the anchor pronounces it pro-BOSS-kiss but the guy being interviewed pronounces it pro-BOSE-kiss.
