The rickroll idea is funny, but I worry that it would be too distracting, and that people would actually think the whole thing is just a rickroll and not actually watch the rest :). Maybe we could do it at the end? Or as its own video?
‘I assure you it’s harmless enough’ is great 🙂
I agree on ‘a little bit less, scared on my knee’. Singers will just have to not be lazy. Or suffer the consequences. (The consequences probably being Borba muting any offending bridging s’s :)?)
I’m kind of tempted by mtgordon’s earlier idea of the workshop being surrounded by seals instead of bears. “Hear them barking, my hungry children”. Maybe it’s too silly, though?
I like naughty trav’lers lost in fog. I also like the direction of the backstory it suggests. Instead of Santa just being a dirty old man who kidnapped our damsel in distress, she was *on her way* to the workshop. Perhaps to infiltrate and overthrow Santa’s iron Christmas grip?
We haven’t given that last verse much discussion yet. In particular, I believe it contains the longest string of unmodified lyrics:
Maybe you could cut me just a little slack
Would it kill you to be civil?
I’ve been patient, I’ve been gracious
Any ideas?
