Yeah, I know I should think very carefully about phrasing things late at night! Let me try a simpler statement then: I think it could sound even better if it sounded more “rough”. Maybe that could simply translate into smudging up the drums a bit with overbaked tape distortion. But I really like it, please don’t get me wrong 😉
