well now this all depends what’s in your playlist. being that i don’t know, i’ll just go off the list of tracks on this here site. were i to put together a mix cd, i should probably arrange it in a sort of arc of the mood/feel. 35-40 includes probably more than half of mr coulton’s oeuvre, so it’s almost more a case of which you would leave out.

i generally like to start with some energy and end on a high note, so i might go with something like this:

1. take care of me
2. soft rocked by me
3. you could be her
4. pull the string
5. octopus
6. i hate california
7. not about you
8. big bad world, one
9. summer’s over
10. make you cry
11. famous blue raincoat
12. i crush everything
13. always the moon
14. so far so good
15. lady aberlin’s muumuu
16. dance, soterios johnson, dance
17. drinking with you
18. i will
19. the future soon
20. i’m your moon
21. madelaine
22. monkey shines

course that only covers half of what you need, i suppose, but that’s what i would put together.
