Hey Kerrin, just out of curiosity, what kind of time were you intending to leave Cambridge? Just in case it is late enough for me to get there in time. It would, after all, be pretty convenient to arrive with somebody else who is going to not only the same concert but also the same hotel (and could tell me all about the previous concerts on the way, while getting first pick of whatever chocolate I bring.) Also, it seems that tickets to Cambridge cost the same whether they’re booked in advance or not.
After wrestling with a speech recognition thingy, emailing the website contact people, getting a phone number for a human, and speaking to said human who can only give me the schedule information I already have and can’t actually book things, I have been assured that if I call the speech recognition number tomorrow during opening hours I’ll get a human. As for whether I can use that number to book from outside the UK, I don’t know, when I asked she just kept telling me the country code for the UK. So I’ll try tomorrow if I get time.
ETA: I guess I’ll book a room at the Nottingham hotel that Kerrin recommended, and it definitely has ‘2 Single Beds’ as an option. Anyone wanna share?
