We had indeed been aware of the sidebar issue, and had hoped that the upgrade to the new version of WordPress might have fixed it. Obviously not. Darn it.
Had not been aware of the IE6 & 7 “Operation Aborted” error, and assume that it indeed relates to the new polling plugin, as nothing else has changed recently. Could the problem be that the plugin (WP-Polls) is AJAX only? We chose the poll because it seemed the most usable/configurable of the ones we could find. If anyone knows a less troublesome poll plugin, we’re certainly not against switching.
As for the songs previews buttons, all that stuff is hard-coded, and we didn’t want to change everything up until we were sure we had a solution that worked. Specifically, a friend is developing a plugin to automate the song setup process. (Coulton developed a similar system, but it’s not really portable) Assuming this plugin is now relatively glitch-free (which we hear it is now close to being), we’re switching over soon.
