Book-banning, Christian Right, Lipstick, Media Elite – – these are all distractions. The real crises in this country come in the form of (e.g.) the fact that 4 million home owners are in foreclosure, that there is a healthcare disaster (I’ve mentioned before that I have to pay 36K a year for insurance and medication) Businesses are closing right and left here and elsewhere. The economy sucks and the McCain campaign has managed to highjack the voters’ little minds with lies about legislation dealing with “sex education for kindergarten children.”
Yeah, Bry – I would like to trust our government again and discuss “interesting stuff”. There is this little thing, though, called reality and right now, I am being lied to and it pisses me off. Reform, my ass.
