My response was “When they pay you more than I am, you go ahead and play it.”
That doesn’t sound like a wise thing to say depending on how much you were paying the DJ and how drunk the guests were. I could easily see some drunk people paying a DJ so they get control of the set list, maybe that is just my friends.
