Yesterday over lunch I told Bry about my new reading of Creepy Doll. So what’s this doll doing that’s so creepy? Asking for a snack? Criticizing an excess of honey? OK, It’s creepy, and it’s annoying, but it’s not a knife-wielding creepy doll. Ignore the fiery ending for the moment. In practice, the doll sounds more like a somewhat pathological girlfriend. That being the case, I suspect that to some extent, just under the surface, it’s another break-up song: “You decide that you’ve had enough.”
