3 things I’d add:-
Acoustic is lighter – less back strain at a long show.
You get more of a feeling for the sound of the instrument with an acoustic as it vibrates differently to an electric (or a solid-body electric at any rate), so you feel the sound as well as hear it. It just feels better.
If the PA system dies or is really lousy, in smaller venues you don’t need anything else – your acoustic guitar and voice will do just fine and you can still put on a great show without missing a beat. Thus speaks somebody who’s mixing desk died mid-song and the band carried on thanks to acoustic bass, guitar drums and vocal (we only lost the electric lead guitar) – most of the audience didn’t even notice!
