It’s easier for me to maintain the facade of reputability if as few people know who I am as possible. 😉
Honestly, I don’t mean to make it a big secret who I am — I mean, I’ve met (and introduced myself to) at least six active forum regulars in person. I just prefer not to disclose my full identity (after, as I say, behaving so foolishly and narcissistically in the past using my real name), and I don’t think it’s really relevant who exactly I am. If it becomes necessary for some reason I can’t foresee, I’m prepared to present my credentials, though. But for one thing, it’s easier to present myself as an expert on every subject when you don’t know how little I really know. 😉
