I liked it a lot. I wouldn’t change the joke if that character is really that crass. You need to stay true to the personality of the girl (guy?) I might make one suggestion to make it resonate with JoCo fans, though… end the comic with a patented Jonathan Coulton response to reading the sign… perhaps an inquiry about how much she might have at Citibank or Washington Mutual. Then he might consider it. After checking with the wife, of course. (or something else that JoCo insiders might appreciate.)
