She projects a very acceptable persona and she knows what’s going on around her, but she never seems to have made that leap to examine her own assumptions or the common values she inherited from her family and upbringing, and forge them into a perspective of self-awareness.
Not arguing the point about Cindy McCain (of whom I know about as much as I did about Joe Biden), but what would differentiate someone who never made such a leap from someone who has examined his or her assumptions and upbringing and judged them to be good, or at least worth continuing to follow?
