Luke, I liked you analysis of Make You Cry. One slight difference of opinion I have is in verse 1 you say.
Verse 1: He has driven all day without an invitation, probably because this woman, who is in a relationship with someone else, barely knows him.
I get the feeling that he did know her well. Like you said probably in high school. I’ll bet he was that pitiful ‘friend’ who really he wanted to be more but, afraid of rejection, never had the nerve to push it, so settled for friends.
