I’m with Colleenky on this. I don’t see much more than “other-bashing” in most of the JoCo breakup songs. In Always the Moon, I hear him playing around with concepts of creation myths & moon phases, but I don’t really see any gender-specific stuff. To me, it’s all lunar.
