Hi All! My name is Francisco and I am -arguably- JoCo's first spanish fan! Wanted to say hi to everyone from blistering Madrid, Spain.
I came across JoCo's music in "Portal" and loved the track to death, googled the man and ended up here. I spent a whole afternoon hooked on the music, listening, reading the anecdotes and laughing my ass off.
I don't know if I am actually JoCo's first spanish fan (JCFSF from now on) because "Still Alive" was also hailed as a masterpiece in the spanish videogame magazines, webpages, fanzines etc. But I like to think I am. Let's say, for the sake of argument I am: I don't plan to stay his only fan. I am already showing the music to all my friends, family and collegues!
I am also a musician, although I do covers (blues standards and stuff) I can't seem to connect the dots to write my own stuff.
If my english seems a little odd I apologize, I hardly get to practice it here in Spain.
¡Saludos!
