OK, they’re exceptions, but the typical JoCo/P&S show has a certain structure:
JoCo solo
JoCo backed by P&S
JoCo solo again
encore: JoCo backed by P&S
The set list is typically built on that structure. I think it’s useful to know which songs are often done with P&S (when they’re available), which songs are never done without some sort of backing, which songs he’s quite content to perform solo (maybe those for which he didn’t have any backing vocals in the studio track?), etc.
